
Only Water’s carton water drives the SDGs at COP25
The Climate Summit (COP25) was held from December 2 to 13. It is the most important international political forum to face the climate emergency.
Ly Company’s brand name, Only Water, was chosen by UNITAR, the United Nations agency to make the packaging for the COP25. During the days that it took place, it was distributed to the citizens and visitors of Madrid.
In addition, our packaging was a communication vehicle for the SDGs and an example of how more sustainable and renewable packaging can make less consumption of plastics and a drastic reduction in the carbon footprint.

Our CEO, Francisco Rodríguez, was invited to speak at the Conference on “Sport, Sustainability and Youth” organized together with UNITAR and the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE). There was talk about Only Water’s cardboard container and other projects in which we are involved, such as ecopallets, made with recycled material from our containers.

In this way, alliances were created between sport, sustainability and equality. Thus, it is shown that working as a team makes it easier to transmit and strengthen the importance of caring for our planet.
Carton water is the best alternative to water consumption in single-use containers, because its production emits less carbon emissions compared to other containers, since the energy required for a carton water container to take its commercial form , is less than what is needed to blow or form other containers.
