In the deescalation the planet faces pollution again

The deescalation begins, this Monday the four have heard the rise of blinds of businesses that, among preparations, are eager to start their activity. Although Only Water has not stopped, we are excited to accompany all our clients throughout the process of phases until we reach that so-called “new normal”.

However, despite the health crisis that was generated since the beginning of the pandemic and the fear of an economic crisis that promises to result from the entire situation of exceptionality and isolation measures, we have seen how the planet has thanked many ways, this time of confinement.

Deescalation with less pollution

There are many concerns that invade us, one of them is that the mandatory use of masks and gloves, on a massive and daily basis, could become one of the main pollutants.

At the moment, the known technology has not found a way to replace these recommended preventive measures with less polluting ones, therefore, it is important that we do not abandon our responsibility with the environment, our environmental commitment and we commit ourselves to improve our consumption habits in a way that that we can counteract, in some way, the use of gloves and masks.

Bottled water: hygienic solution – Water in carton: responsible solution

The bottled water sector is experiencing much higher growth than it was used to due to the Covid-19 crisis. In fact, during the first weeks of April, this segment has generated sales volume of up to 30% more compared to the same period of the previous year.

In the same way, it is likely that, due to hygiene measures, especially during the months that the de-escalation process lasts and even during the so-called “new normal”, the consumption of bottled water increases.

That is why we want to remind you that the production of our water in cardboard involves 50% less carbon emissions and that our packaging is made up of 70% cardboard with FSC certification from responsibly managed forests.

We also want to tell you that packaging in cardboard format requires less energy than blowing or filling other bottles. Furthermore, the packaging, before taking its commercial form, are cardboard coils that can be transported more efficiently.

Likewise, our aseptic packaging technology guarantees that our quality, premium water is not in contact with any contaminating agent, while our 100% plant-based stopper, adhered in a sterile way, guarantees a secure seal.
