At Only Water we support the United Nations gender equality goal
Only Water, in its commitment to the environment and in collaboration with the United Nations through Cifal Málaga, promotes the Sustainable Development Goals and shows special empathy for Goal 5, which is about achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls.
Gender equality allows us to build a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. In addition, it has been achieved in recent decades that a large number of girls are in school, and fewer girls are forced into early marriage; there are more women in parliamentary and leadership positions, and laws are being reformed to promote gender equality.

From Only Water the collaborative purposes with the United Nations are being carried out so that the maximum possible achievements can continue to be added. The problem is that the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic could reverse these achievements.
For this reason, the existing inequalities for women and girls worldwide have worsened; from health and the economy, to security and social protection. But it is not what we want. It is intended to be fought, and they are doing so.
Women are playing a great role in responding to the virus, from front-line health workers to home caregivers.
Our most heartfelt congratulations to these great women, and to Pozos sin Fronteras whose objective is to cooperate in the development of peoples and communities by proposing growth paths for these societies.
Likewise, in Pozos sin Fronteras, special importance is given to the need for the inhabitants to know how to grow as a society by relying on the sustainable and reasonable use of water. Agricultural techniques at this point play a fundamental role. Training in issues related to agriculture allows us to open up a horizon of growth that has a long way to go.
Today, many women have stopped traveling miles to access clean water.
